Does Killing One Bigot End Racism…?

Or by the same logic, does killing one terrorist, whatever his influence or affiliation, end terrorism?  In case you’re a passive reader, the answer to both questions is “No.”

So tell me, why is our country having a collective orgasm over the death of one man like we’ve eradicated hatred and killing in the world by, well, hating and killing someone?   Are we really that naive?  Well, probably yes, but I urge people to please refer to the title of this post and tell me with 100% honesty that killing one person was worth losing losing tens of thousands more of our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, and parents, especially when our kill count over the past decade is now far greater than the number one would get by adding up those of every terrorist attack on US soil during the past century.

Congrats everyone, we got him.  *rolls eyes*

I’m sure I’ll be labeled something ridiculous like “un-American” for writing this, but hopefully I reach a few of you that still like to look at the big picture from time to time.
